Dutch Gypsy group built from the foundation of four Basily family members: violinist Tucsi, solo guitarist Popi, and rhythm guitarists Gino and Zonzo. The family is joined by guitarist Martin Limberger and bassist Sani van Mullem.

The Gypsy Jazz - formation Basily revives the gypsy swing music pioneered by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli.
Initially Basily started out interpreting the Hot Club de France tradition.
Nowadays Basily has developed it’s  own specific identity along with traditional Spanish gypsy influences.
Time after time the Basily formation succeeds to enthrall audiences worldwide with their charismatic stage presence and enigmatic appeal.
Basily has gained a great reputation both nationally and internationally.
In the Netherlands Basily has performed at almost every jazz - and theater stage.
They have performed multiple times at the North Sea Jazz festival in the Hague.
Basily also received many invitations from abroad including  the Jak festival in Indonesia, the famous Django Reinhard festival of  Samois France ,the world renowned Birdland jazz club in New York and many jazz festivals in Italy and Scandinavia.
Some of their highlights were a performance with the legendary Stephane Grapelli and invitations to perform at private parties of  The Rolling Stones and Jeff Beck in London.
With the classic Hotclub - line up Basily is perceived as one of the best and original gypsy jazz formations around.

La formación Gypsy Jazz - Basily revive la música de swing gitano iniciada por Django Reinhardt y Stephane Grapelli.
Inicialmente, Basily comenzó interpretando la tradición del Hot Club de France.
En la actualidad, Basily ha desarrollado su propia identidad específica junto con las influencias gitanas tradicionales españolas.
Una y otra vez, la formación Basily consigue cautivar al público de todo el mundo con su carismática presencia en el escenario y su enigmático atractivo.
Basily se ha ganado una gran reputación tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
En los Países Bajos, Basily ha actuado en casi todos los escenarios de jazz y teatro.
Han actuado varias veces en el festival de Jazz del Mar del Norte en La Haya.
Basily también ha recibido muchas invitaciones del extranjero, como el festival Jak de Indonesia, el famoso festival Django Reinhard de Samois (Francia), el mundialmente conocido club de jazz Birdland de Nueva York y muchos festivales de jazz en Italia y Escandinavia.
Algunos de sus momentos más destacados fueron una actuación con el legendario Stephane Grapelli e invitaciones para actuar en fiestas privadas de The Rolling Stones y Jeff Beck en Londres.
