Echoes of France • Echoes of France

Album Notes:
Inspired by the duet recordings of jazz legends Stéphane Grappelli and Django Reinhardt, these are our own duet arrangements for violin and guitar: ranging from well known Cole Porter and Duke Ellington tunes to rarely recorded compositions by Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli.
This album is the result of a live recording session with an authentic 1930s Siemens SM3 ribbon mic. No overdubs, no mixing, no editing, no plugins, no special effects – just good music!
