Native of Northern California, Jimmy Grant grew up in a household full of rich musical influences that inspired a passion for the music of Django Reinhardt. While his influences include Russian Folk, Bluegrass, Celtic and Classical, he continues to develop the gypsy jazz technique. He has studied with acclaimed guitarists such as Jim Nichols.

Originario del norte de California, Jimmy Grant creció en un hogar lleno de ricas influencias musicales que le inspiraron la pasión por la música de Django Reinhardt. Aunque sus influencias incluyen el folk ruso, el bluegrass, el celta y el clásico, sigue desarrollando la técnica del jazz gitano. Ha estudiado con aclamados guitarristas como Jim Nichols.
