Organist Joey DeFrancesco’s Project Freedom, is his first album in a quartet setting and features his stellar work on the Hammond B-3—plus contributions on trumpet and as a vocalist. The album it’s in part dedicated to Philadelphia’s - the so-called ‘City of Brotherly Love’ - rich organ history, and is also an expression of what the city and it’s people mean to him personally. They perform originals and a few covers.

Project Freedom, del organista Joey DeFrancesco, es su primer álbum en cuarteto y presenta su trabajo estelar con el Hammond B-3, además de colaboraciones como trompetista y vocalista. El álbum está dedicado en parte a la rica historia del órgano de Filadelfia, la llamada «Ciudad del Amor Fraternal», y es también una expresión de lo que la ciudad y su gente significan para él personalmente. Interpretan temas originales y algunas versiones.
