One of violinist L. Subramaniam's more jazz-oriented dates, this set (consisting of six of his originals) matches his Indian classical violin with swing violinist Svend Asmussen. With backing by an oversized rhythm section and two mridangam players, the two violinists offer contrasting but complementary styles on this spiritual yet often swinging (in its own fashion) music. An intriguing set.

Una de las citas más orientadas al jazz del violinista L. Subramaniam, este conjunto (que consta de seis de sus originales) combina su violín clásico indio con el violinista de swing Svend Asmussen.
