Reseña de All About Jazz (por Hrayr Attarian): Esta recopilación reúne las grabaciones de estudio completas del inusual quinteto original de Chico Hamilton, formado por batería, guitarra, contrabajo, cello y vientos. El crítico destaca el particular carácter de jazz de cámara del grupo, su combinación de influencias del Romanticismo europeo con el blues y la extraordinaria calidad individual de los músicos.
