HIS ATTRACTION FOR THE FLAMENCO
He likes the flamenco from 1987 when he met Paco de Lucia in Paris. In the same time he is already recognized as a virtuoso of the classic guitar as much as the guitar of jazz.

He matures his play and his reflection. He offers new versions of some pieces composed by el Maestro Paco de Lucia "Entre dos Aguas" and "Rio Ancho" in the expression of his own flamenco.

Raphaël Faÿs nació la guitarra entre los brazos, de un padre guitarrista de Jazz que tuvo un relámpago y prometedor comienzo de carrera. Trabaja el repertorio de su maestro Django Reinhardt y es reconocido como el heredero excepcionalmente dotado de la tradición. El mundo musical de Raphaël Faÿs atraviesa Europa. SU ATRACCIÓN PARA EL FLAMENCO
Le gusta el flamenco desde 1987 cuando conoció a Paco de Lucía en París. En el mismo tiempo ya es reconocido como un virtuoso de la guitarra clásica tanto como de la guitarra de jazz.
Aunque su facilidad instrumental favorece un rápido aprendizaje de la técnica flamenca que interpreta con la "poua" llamada púa, parece que, por modestia sin duda, habrá esperado desde hace años antes de atreverse a centrar su obra en este estilo. Ya ha compuesto numerosas obras de inspiración flamenca : bulérias, alégrias, Fandango, un éxito perfecto que expresa brillantemente en su extraordinaria y original interpretación.
Además de los álbumes "Andalucía" en 2008 y "Extremadura" en 2009. Raphaël Faÿs propone hoy su nuevo álbum " Mi Camino Con El Flamenco ".
Madura su obra y su reflexión. Ofrece nuevas versiones de algunas piezas compuestas por el Maestro Paco de Lucia "Entre dos Aguas" y "Rio Ancho" en la expresión de su propio flamenco.
