Automatic translation:
Surely the best album in the series "Cocktail Mix" of the Rhino label, more oriented to space-pop than the rest. Of the 18 songs that make up the album, it can be said that they stretch the limits of that musical style to previously unknown limits. After all, Mose Allison, Cal Tjader, Brother Jack McDuff, and Pucho & The Latin Soul Brothers were better known as jazz, Latin and blues musicians than as cocktail-style musicians. Inside the album we find celebrities such as Mel Tormé (represented by the classic "Comin 'Home Baby"), Quincy Jones and Connie Francis (with bossa nova themes), Ann Margaret, Sergio Mendes and Walter Wanderley (with issues of difficult classification in a certain style). as well as a series of artists characteristic of the cocktail style and that will delight the followers of this music.
