A complete previously unissued quartet performance by the great Dexter Gordon. This fascinating concert finds Gordon at the Subway jazz club in Köln, Germany, on September 11, 1973, playing along Irv Rochlin on piano, Henk Haverhoek on bass, and Tony Inzalaco on drums. This edition contains a 16-page booklet with rare photographs, and special essays by famed jazz producer Michael Cuscuna and by Dexter s widow, Maxine Gordon. The set also includes four bonus tracks, also previously unreleased, consisting of 1965 and 1971 performances by Gordon respectively in Stuttgart and Den Haag.

Una actuación completa de cuarteto inédita del gran Dexter Gordon. Este fascinante concierto reúne a Gordon en el club de jazz Subway de Colonia, Alemania, el 11 de septiembre de 1973, tocando junto a Irv Rochlin al piano, Henk Haverhoek al bajo y Tony Inzalaco a la batería. Esta edición contiene un libreto de 16 páginas con fotografías poco comunes y ensayos especiales del famoso productor de jazz Michael Cuscuna y de la viuda de Dexter, Maxine Gordon. El disco incluye además cuatro temas extra, también inéditos, que corresponden a actuaciones de Gordon en 1965 y 1971 en Stuttgart y La Haya, respectivamente.
