Enrico Pieranunzi, Jesper Lundgaard and Alex Riel met at club Jazzhus Montmartre, Copenhagen one evening in June 2014 to join forces. The expectations were high as they all three are well known in European jazz and the atmosphere was good and enhanced by the celebration of Lundgaard’s 60th birthday. This trio’s performance resulted in a masterpiece of improvisation of songs from the Great American Songbook and is now released for everyone to enjoy.

Enrico Pieranunzi, Jesper Lundgaard y Alex Riel se reunieron en el club Jazzhus Montmartre de Copenhague una noche de junio de 2014 para unir fuerzas. Las expectativas eran altas, ya que los tres son muy conocidos en el jazz europeo, y el ambiente era bueno y se vio reforzado por la celebración del 60º cumpleaños de Lundgaard. La actuación de este trío dio como resultado una obra maestra de improvisación de canciones del Great American Songbook y ahora se publica para que todo el mundo la disfrute.
