Guitar greats Philip Catherine and Paulo Morello got to know and appreciate each other in 2010 jamming together at the Burghausen Jazz Festival. In 2017 they teamed up with bassist Sven Faller to start a real collaboration. The chemistry of this trio turned out to be just right and lead to a number of well-received concerts. After successfully continuing their tour in 2018 they decided it was time to document their efforts in a recording. They named it after one of their favorite compositions by European jazz pioneer Django Reinhardt: “Manoir de mes Rêves.

Los grandes de la guitarra Philip Catherine y Paulo Morello se conocieron y apreciaron en 2010 improvisando juntos en el Festival de Jazz de Burghausen. En 2017 se unieron al bajista Sven Faller para iniciar una verdadera colaboración. La química de este trío resultó ser la adecuada y dio lugar a una serie de conciertos bien recibidos. Tras continuar con éxito su gira en 2018, decidieron que era el momento de documentar sus esfuerzos en una grabación. Le pusieron el nombre de una de sus composiciones favoritas del pionero del jazz europeo Django Reinhardt: "Manoir de mes Rêves".
