Adam
Rogers is an American guitarist specializing in post bop, contemporary
jazz, and classical music. He formally was a member of the Michael
Brecker Group, the Mingus Orchestra, and Lost Tribe.
As one of
the most in-demand guitarists in the world, Rogers has performed and/or
recorded with many top musicians including Michael Brecker, Chris
Potter, David Binney, Edward Simon, Randy Brecker, John Patitucci, Brian
Blade, Bill Stewart, Scott Colley, Clarence Penn, Nate Smith, Craig
Tayborn, John Zorn, Regina Carter, Elvis Costello, Norah Jones, the
Mingus Orchestra, Bill Evans, Matt Garrison, David Krakauer, and Ben
Perowsky. He has appeared on over one hundred and fifty albums and
toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan,
South America, The Middle East and Russia.
He has also maintained
a presence in the N.Y.C. studio world having played on the soundtracks
of numerous films and television commercial jingles.
