Motivation is a jazz album by saxophonist Bill Barron, recorded circa 1972 in New York City and released on the Savoy label. The album features the Bill Barron Quartet and represents Barron’s advanced post-bop style, with original compositions by Bill Barron except where noted. The session features his brother Kenny Barron on piano and is generally associated with Savoy catalog number 12303.
