Review from Jazz Journal (by Michael Shera): This record is successful on several counts, beginning with Stan Tracey's compositions, which have considerable substance, melodic charm and suitability for jazz improvisations. Bobby Wellins and Stan Tracey both play extremely well, with Wellins showing his considerable talent and Tracey's writing displaying strong melodic and rhythmic character. The rhythm section of Jeff Clyne and Jackie Dougan is also praised for its contribution.

Thanks for this one, Stan Tracey is one of my favourites, not only as a piano player but also as a fantastic composer. Any thing from him will be very welcomed.
