Claude Tissendier is a multi-talented performer, composer and arranger. His clarinet and alto saxophone sound has been described as a mixture between the styles of Benny Carter and Charlie Parker and he has made frequent radio and television appearances over his more-than-20 year career. On his CD Django's Dream, Tissendier and friends remind us of the clarinet's contribution to Django's music as a whole, as well as recalling the vital and very special role played by Hubert Rostaing, one of the great masters of the instrument.
