This record features Jim Hall’s complete trio recordings with bassist George Duvivier and drummer Chico Hamilton as heard on the album "Blues On The Rocks" recorded in Los Angeles on February 8, 1956.
The release also includes the complete album "Good Friday Blues" recorded in Los Angeles on April 1 & 2, 1960 with pianist Red Mitchell and bassist Red Kelly.
