David Liebman & Richard Beirach • Double Edge

 

This is a duo album by these two great musicians who known from playing with giants such as Stan Getz, Miles Davis and others. The album was recorded in Copenhagen 1985 while David Liebman and Richard Beirach were in Denmark for their second annual Copenhagen Combo Workshop (Advanced Jazz Clinic). On this recording they perform a set jazz standards including 'Round Midnight' and 'On Green Dolphin Street'.

Este es un álbum a dúo de estos dos grandes músicos conocidos por haber tocado con gigantes como Stan Getz, Miles Davis y otros. El álbum se grabó en Copenhague en 1985 mientras David Liebman y Richard Beirach estaban en Dinamarca para su segundo taller anual de combo de Copenhague (clínica de jazz avanzada). En esta grabación interpretan un conjunto de estándares de jazz que incluyen 'Round Midnight' y 'On Green Dolphin Street'.
