Alberto Marsico was born in Turin in 1966, and he's a professional musician since 25 years. His true love and passion for the jazz organ first came out attending Jack McDuff's workshop in Genova in 1994. Jack once told him, after recording one of Alberto's tunes (Jack-Pot): "Alberto, you got a Hammond Blood". That was the turning point of Alberto's career, and "Hammond Blood" is also the title of the first CD he recorded in 1994.
1996-1997 Portugal and Spain tours with Slovenian drummer Zlatko Caucic and gigs with soul singers Ollie Nightingale, Kenneth Jackson and Lannie Mc Millan.
1998 Recording session (produced by Jim Pugh) and gigs with guitarist Anthony Paule in San Francisco.
2000 Duo Concert with Ian Paice in Gubbio (Italy).
2001 Recording session in Los Angeles with guitarist Alex Schultz and guest artist Larry Taylor, Finis Tasby, Linwood Slim and Tad Robinson. Recording session of his Beatles tribute, Jazz the Beatles (Organic Music, Germany).
2002 Australia and Singapore tours with Enrico Crivellaro and Gio Rossi.
2003 European tours with Finis Tasby and Tad Robinson. Singapore and Malaysia tour with Enrico Crivellaro.
2004 Featured at the Yllas jazz festival (Finland) with the Christian Rover Trio. Recording session of the first Organ Logistics CD (Organic Music, Germany).
2005 Gigs and Spanish tour with Alvin Queen and Jesse Davis. Recording Session in Abbey Road, London. Workshops in Leipzig and Dresden (Conservatory).
2006 Moscow gigs and Ryazan Jazz Festival (Russia). Featured at the North Sea Jazz Festival, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Recording session of the second Organ Logistics' CD. Three Concerts with the Joey De Francesco Trio.
2007 Concerts with Jimmy Cobb and Bobby Durham. Duo concert with Enrico Rava.
2008 Organization and executive direction of "We Love Jazz 2008", international jazz workshop with Benny Golson, Joey De Francesco, Jimmy Cobb and Buster Williams.

Alberto Marsico nació en Turín en 1966 y es músico profesional desde hace 25 años. Su verdadero amor y pasión por el órgano de jazz surgió en el taller de Jack McDuff en Génova en 1994. Jack le dijo una vez, después de grabar una de las canciones de Alberto (Jack-Pot): "Alberto, tienes una sangre de Hammond". 2008 Organización y dirección ejecutiva de "We Love Jazz 2008", taller internacional de jazz con Benny Golson, Joey De Francesco, Jimmy Cobb y Buster Williams.
