With six brand new Hempton originals, and featuring guitar legend Peter Bernstein along with the dream rhythm team of Kyle Koehler on organ and Fukushi Tainaka on drums, “Slick” is born of the classic Blue Note records of Stanley Turrentine, Lou Donaldson, and Jimmy Smith.
