Papa Bue Jensen can always be relied upon to play spirited and very musical Dixieland. The Swedish trombonist's band is heard on this live date from 1970. Particularly impressive is trumpeter Finn Otto Hansen, while clarinetist Jorgen Svare is excellent too. With the exception of "The Entertainer" (played a few years before it became popular due to its inclusion in the movie The Sting), "Now's the Hour," and four Duke Ellington songs, all of the music consists of Dixieland standards, including such rousers as "Dippermouth Blues," "Panama," and "Tiger Rag." A fun set.

Siempre se puede confiar en Papa Bue Jensen para tocar un Dixieland animado y muy musical. La banda del trombonista sueco se escucha en esta grabación en directo de 1970. Destaca especialmente el trompetista Finn Otto Hansen, mientras que el clarinetista Jorgen Svare también es excelente. A excepción de «The Entertainer» (interpretada unos años antes de que se hiciera popular gracias a su inclusión en la película El golpe), «Now's the Hour» y cuatro canciones de Duke Ellington, toda la música consiste en estándares del dixieland, incluyendo temas tan animados como «Dippermouth Blues», «Panama» y «Tiger Rag».
