After his 1976 debut on ECM, the stunning Danca Das Cabecas with percussionist Naná Vasconcelos, Gismonti returned the following year with this impressive combo outing. Actually, the album consists of a mix of solo pieces and cuts with various partners, in both duo and trio formats. He penned all the material and shines throughout. The guest do the same, with special mention going to guitarist Ralph Towner, percussionist Colin Walcott, tenor saxophonist Jan Garbarek, and Vasconcelos. Highly recommended.

Después de su debut en 1976 en ECM, el impresionante Danca Das Cabecas con la percusionista Naná Vasconcelos, Gismonti volvió al año siguiente con este impresionante combo. En realidad, el álbum consiste en una mezcla de piezas en solitario y cortes con varios compañeros, tanto en formato de dúo como de trío. Él es el autor de todo el material y brilla en todo momento.
