A stellar collection of new and previously unreleased recordings of the music of Walter Davis, one of the most prolific and influential creators of the pre-World War 2 Blues Scene and an inductee into the Blues Hall of Fame. When Muddy Waters was recorded by the Library of Congress in 1942 he was asked to list the songs he enjoyed performing most, on that list there were more Walter Davis songs than any other artist.
