Louis Armstrong y sus All Stars en dos lugares diferentes de San Francisco en 1954, haciendo lo que más les gustaba y lo que mejor sabían hacer: tocar un jazz de una calidad que desafía cualquier descripción y, como habría dicho Louis, "complacer a la gente". Hay pruebas de sobra de que "complacer a la gente" era fundamental para Louis; un indicador de la profunda compasión por la humanidad que sentía y que le proporcionaba tanto amor como su consumado e impecable arte como trompetista.
