Frank nació en 1969. Después de 11 años de estudiar piano clásico, descubrió los placeres del boogie woogie a la edad de 19 años. Desde entonces se ha dedicado por completo a esta música. El boogie woogie trio Ammons, Johnson y Lewis, así como pianistas como Lloyd Glenn, Little Brother Montgomery o Cow Cow Davenport han influido profundamente en su desarrollo.
En un corto período de tiempo, Frank ha adquirido una excelente reputación no solo entre los que tienen información privilegiada. Las apariciones en televisión y radio han contribuido al notable éxito de Frank.
Ya en octubre de 1995, su disco debut, "Great Boogie Woogie News", fue publicado por el sello Vienna Records. Posteriormente, Frank actuó en clubes y festivales de jazz, en una gira por Austria con Mojo Bluesband y Red Holloway, en conciertos en el Jazzland y en el Starclub (Viena), y en conciertos con Axel Zwingenberger, Vince Weber y Martin Pyrker. Muy pronto, Frank Muschalle superó su papel como talento local; Las invitaciones a conciertos como las "Estrellas de Boogie Woogie" - Festival en la Sala de Conciertos de Viena hablan por sí mismas.
En marzo de 1997 salió el segundo CD, "Battin´ The Boogie", también publicado por Document Records. La producción causó sensación entre los expertos internacionales. En 2002 tuvo lugar en Alemania "40 años de América - Folk - Blues - Festival Jubilee" y Frank tocó con su Trío (con Dani Gugolz en el bajo y Peter Müller en la batería) en esta gira con los Blues-Stars Hubert Sumlin, Carey Bell , Bob Stroger y Lousiana Red.
Dos meses más tarde, Frank fue invitado con su trío al "Jumpin´at the Flagships" - Recorrido por todas partes de Suiza. Jugó allí con Red Holloway, Jimmy Coe, Carrie Smith y Rusty Zinn. La televisión suiza grabó un programa televisivo de una hora de duración.
Highlight 2007 fue la invitación para una gira por Paraguay, donde Frank fue invitado junto con Axel Zwingenberger. Frank y Axel fueron invitados nuevamente en 2008 y 2009 y actuaron en Paraguay y también en Bolivia. 2010 Frank recibió una invitación para tocar en conciertos en el norte de África. Y en 2013, fue invitado nuevamente a Paraguay.
En este momento, Frank ha grabado 12 discos diferentes y su estilo musical es bien conocido por sus magníficos fuegos artificiales técnicos y sutiles matices. Una y otra vez crea una atmósfera expectante en su audiencia que se ve constantemente realzada por los hábiles cambios del estado de ánimo musical.
Por todo eso, las convincentes y no afectadas actuaciones de Frank Muschalle hacen que los dramáticos efectos de escenario sean superfluos: la música habla por sí misma.
