Vibraphonic's third album, On a Roll, finds the post-acid-jazz combo upping the groove quotient, resulting in their smoothest, funkiest and best record to date. While their jazz inclinations are downplayed, they have never displayed a sharper dance sense or better songcraft, particularly on the shimmering instrumentals "One for the Road" and "Keep on Moving," or the vocal cuts "Wherever You Are" and "Nothing Comes Close."

El tercer álbum de Vibraphonic, On a Roll, encuentra al combo de post-acid-jazz elevando el cociente del groove, resultando en su más suave, funky y mejor disco hasta la fecha. Mientras que sus inclinaciones de jazz son minimizadas, nunca han mostrado un sentido más agudo de la danza o un mejor arte de las canciones, particularmente en los instrumentales brillantes "One for the Road" y "Keep on Moving", o los cortes vocales "Wherever You Are" y "Nothing Comes Close".
