Four On Six • Four On Six Plays The Beatles

 

 

Volumes have been written about the Beatles and the profound cultural and musical impact they had on the world. That in 2018, over half a century after its release, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band has been named the most popular album of all time, is testament to the genius of their songwriting.

It seemed to us the perfect moment to bring out this album. Aiming for as much variety as we could, we ended up choosing twenty songs from eight different albums recorded by the Beatles between 1964 and 1969. We have included some that were suggested by our audience, While My Guitar Gently Weeps being one of the most frequently mentioned, as well as some of our personal favourites.

We have loved the challenge, researching and transcribing everything from Paul’s inspired trademark bass lines to the baroque piccolo trumpet solo in Penny Lane.

Se ha escrito mucho sobre los Beatles y el profundo impacto cultural y musical que tuvieron en el mundo. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band haya sido nombrado el álbum más popular de todos los tiempos, es testimonio de la genialidad de sus composiciones.

Nos pareció el momento perfecto para sacar este álbum. Buscando la mayor variedad posible, hemos elegido veinte canciones de ocho álbumes diferentes grabados por los Beatles entre 1964 y 1969. Hemos incluido algunas que nos sugirió nuestro público, siendo While My Guitar Gently Weeps una de las más mencionadas, así como algunas de nuestras favoritas personales.
